It is a 4 - 5% copper alloy and is supplied in the fully heat-treated condition (solution heat treated & artificially aged).Typical applications of aluminium alloy 2014A are high strength componenets especially for use in the aerospace and defence industries.Good machinability and hardness and not for welding and stress-corrosion cracking.
